There is a constant effort required in adapting the human experience since it differs from person to person. My mission is to help make the world a more accepting and accessible place by taking consistent efforts towards engaging in and providing opportunities for equity, accessibility, and education. I would then be more capable of working with people to provide them with the necessary tools to reach their own goals, as well as educating others on how they can continue to help others. Providing a resource to someone who needs it gives them more opportunities to participate in society in ways they haven’t been able to before. This applies to giving women, people of color, the LGBTQ+ community, and people with disabilities a seat at the table. There are inequalities within society that prevent certain groups of people from being able to hold leadership positions, be paid equally regardless of their gender identity, and be treated fairly and with respect. It is important to be able to advocate for ourselves and others when it is necessary to do so, and prevent further issues from occurring both in the workplace and in the wider world.
